AuthoredUp has two sets of features for the editor:
- Standalone features that don't depend on LinkedIn integration, like drafts, hooks, accessing published posts and
- Features that depend on the LinkedIn editor (attachments, mentions, posting etc.).
In order to access LinkedIn's full capabilities, like attaching documents or submitting a post, we need to have LinkedIn's post editor open underneath AuthoredUp.
You can tell whether this is the case by the color of AuthoredUp's side-bar:
- Green = only AuthoredUp
- Blue = AuthoredUp + LinkedIn
Click the Start a post button, and we will move you to the top of your feed and open a new post. The sidebar will turn blue, and you will be able to post.
