The following step-by-step tutorial will help you integrate your account so you can start creating, scheduling, and analyzing LinkedIn posts effortlessly.
After you register and create an AuthoredUp account, download our extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Go to LinkedIn and log in with the profile you want to connect.
You’ll see the green AuthoredUp badge in the top-right corner.
You can leave it there or move it lower, whichever you prefer. Click the badge to open the extension.
If you haven't already, sign in to your AuthoredUp account using the same method you used when registering:
- If you registered with an email address and password, enter your email and password.
- If you registered using Google or LinkedIn, click the corresponding button to sign in with your OAuth account.
⚠️ Make sure you use the same sign-in method you used when registering. If you registered with an email address and password but sign in with Google or LinkedIn instead, a new AuthoredUp account may be created if the email address does not match your existing account.
Optional: You can also sign in using an extension token. Click Use extension token instead and enter your token.
After signing in with your email and password or using an OAuth method, AuthoredUp will ask if you want to connect your LinkedIn profile. Click the Connect profile button.
Enter your LinkedIn password in the Welcome back pop-up window.
Depending on your LinkedIn account security settings, you may also be asked to verify your identity. This may involve confirming Yes, it was me on your phone or completing verification via SMS.
LinkedIn may ask for your permission to connect your profile to your AuthoredUp account. Click Allow to continue.
That’s it! Your LinkedIn profile is now connected to AuthoredUp. You can start using the editor to create and publish content on LinkedIn.
Keep in mind that you can connect multiple profiles with one account (you need a business plan for this).
